Wait... I Thought Good Was Good...

Consumer Reports just blew my mind: “The bad news is that 23 of the top 27 cereals marketed to children rated only Good or Fair for nutrition.” That sounds like good news to me… you know - good being good and all.

Though, they do have a valid point: “If you’re going to buy one of these kids’ cereals, we recommend you pick one that is rated Very Good.” Well, yeah… that’d be a very good idea.

In the “Just Plain Impressive” front: “Two cereals, Kellogg’s Honey Smacks and Post Golden Crisp, are more than 50 percent sugar (by weight) and nine are at least 40 percent sugar.” I mean, that’s just amazing that they’ve managed to place that much sugar into a product.
