For those of you who are still living or frequenting Stratford, you would know that the Ontario Street McDonalds is currently being renovated.
Take a look:

Now, let’s take a closer look:

I mean… I understood McDonald’s food was not good for you…but I guess I never thought what was in it.
Also, this is no joke. This is actually the Ontario Street McDonalds, and this picture has not been altered. My dad took it today. I thought it was hilarious.

Due to restricted funds, I will not be able to get all of these games immediately. The ones in italics will be left until I have more money. I’ve tried to leave out ones that I feel confident about locating well after their release date.
In the case of Super Mario Galaxy, I am not getting it because I figure I will still be able to find it long after Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles has disappeared from store shelves. And, obviously, I’m getting Super Smash Bros. Brawl the second it comes out.
Oh yeah. And I will be getting Pikmin 3 when it comes out. Obviously.

Oh, that Sakurai just keeps tantalizing me.
Look at the character in the background of this image from the ‘Trophies’ article.

I wonder who would win that conflict…the Bulborb, the banana peel, or the Nintendog.
And Tingle just sneers, not willing to tell us whether HE is playable or not. After all, he has his own series now.

The Simpson’s Premiere sucked.
Considering the decline that the show has seen over the past few years, this was not entirely surprising. The problem that I had with the episode is that it was more of the same old crap.
Problem #1 - Two guest stars in the season premiere: Lionel Richie and Stephen Colbert. And the first appearance of one of the guest stars occurs within the first three or four minutes of the episode. It was actually rather pitiful.
Problem #2 - The whole “I’ve got a taste of richness and I like it” storyline already played itself out in full when Homer was left in charge of Burn’s mansion. Everyone remembers that episode where Homer takes Mr. Burn’s yacht out into International waters, and they get attacked by pirates. Yeah. It is kind of like that episode…again.
Problem #3 - I was actually kind of annoyed when I saw them use the “We didn’t have faith in you gag” again. Remember when Marge applied to be a realtor. Yeah. She came home and informed her children that she passed, and Bart spun around a sign that said “Better luck next time” to reveal a sign that said “Congratulations”. When Homer returns home from his job interview (which would have extended Homer’s resume to house 102 potential job entries), Bart has a cake that has a similar “Better luck next time”-esque message scrawled on the top in pink icing. The bit is stale.
There were many other problems with the premiere. All in all, the best part was the opening segment/couch gag, which shows a Springfield recovering from the effects of the events of The Simpsons Movie. It was humorous to see pieces of broken glass, as well as the town being cleaned up and rebuilt by many notable residents. Furthermore, the Simpson’s home was unfinished, further reminding people of the events of the movie. This part was good. Everything else sucked balls.
Perhaps you can truly appreciate the lack of humour when I tell you that I laughed more at a commercial for a Dominoes Oreo Dessert Pizza that aired during the episode than I did at the episode’s actual content.

I’ve been listening to the extremely boring PSYCH 101 DE lectures from UW. Not only did they pick a lecturer with an extremely annoying voice, but the slides that accompany the lecture material are ridiculous.
Look at this one:

Now, take notice of what is says above the image. If this is not Anna O., why the fuck would you include the picture? What relevance does this image have to anything? And this has happened previously. We’ve been told that certain information in the slides is incorrect.
Well…FIX IT THEN! I mean, what kind of learning tool knowingly has and uses incorrect information.
This course is bullshit. The worst part is that I have to listen to this lecture material for assignments that are worth 5% of my final mark. I’d much rather learn from the textbook, as I did for PSYCH 120R.
