Ain’t That A Kick in the Pants

Published: October 25th, 2008

Wow. So, apparently people were asking about a Resident Evil 5 port on the Wii (since the RE4: Wii Edition is the best version of that particular title). However, the developers have stated that the Wii couldn’t even handle the title screen for Resident Evil 5. Ouch. That’s a kick in the jewels.

Guess it is a good thing I have resolved to go Wii60 (when all my ducks/monies are in a row).

However, the interview seems to confirm that there will be future Resident Evil releases on the Wii. Which is awesome. I just hope that they are made in the style of RE4. Umbrella Chronicles was fun and all that, but it was really only enjoyable because of the background that it filled in regarding the story.

B-movie horror. Gotta love it.

Ohhh no!!! Not the game issue again. I will admit that argument would have been true a year ago, but I’m sorry it’s just not true anymore. PS3 has a great library of games to play and any one person would never be able to get through them all. Not to mention many many many more huge games have/are dropping soon. Within the next month or two, many of which are exclusives. So I’m sorry but the PlayStation has a huge variety of games to play as well.

Also Jordan if you do get a 360 have fun paying for what PSN does for free, that is if you want to fork out the extra $100 on top of that for the wireless adapter so you don’t have to run a cord through your living room. All of a sudden that cheap console isn’t so cheap anymore. Although I do have a wireless adapter that can’t be used anymore because my 360 is dead for the second time and not under warranty anymore. So if you do go that route and need a wireless adapter I’ll sell it to you for 45$ plus shipping lol.

Also LBP ROCkS!!! Buy it even if you don’t have a ps3 muhahah!

My argument is that the 360 was a wide variety of game types. The PS3 is still really great, & if I could afford one, I would get one. Halo 3 was my motivation for my 360. You have to also consider as nice as Wi-Fi is, not everyone needs it.

If I buy a PS3 it would be for GT5, LBP, and the Blue-Ray player, although I don’t buy DVDs. I can stream HD content to my TV already. I will give sony credit for their use of the cell architecture, though. 1 cell for PS3 OS, 6 for developers & 1 disabled, able to be enabled incase another core goes ka-put; brilliant fault tolerance.

Any other 360 gear you wanna unload? HDD (120Gig?), controllers, etc?

@Wolfgang - remember, there’s shipping from Texas on top of all that, that might kill the deal here…

@ Wolfgang (is this the thing to do now, I always just put the name and a comma)

The 360 has a wide variety of game types seems to be a peculiar argument in its favour.

I mean…how many people here are looking for more than shooters, action-adventure, and the occasional RPG?

    Yeah. That’s what I thought.

That is one thing that I don’t like about Nintendo this generation. They have some great games that I love to play, but then they treat Wii Music (a game that plays itself) as if it is one of their AAA titles. And that ain’t right.

k now you guys are jsut being dicks.

What I meant was the Wii tends to market to a younger audience. Their game are rated ‘E’ most commonly. PS3 has fewer games directed towards the young peeps out there, where as the 360 has a nice mix of both. Does that mean the PS3 has no cute & cuddley game? No. Does that mean thw Wii has nothing Gory? No. Please try to understand what I am saying.

Also, watch this. It just might make you laugh
