I’m pretty sure it was an empty threat as well - there’s no camera in that room. Also they used an apostrophe in the wrong place.

It wouldn’t be so bad, except that they’re entirely blocking a walking path. It wasn’t such a problem for me, but considering where it’s parked, they’ve prevented anyone with a disability from using that path since even I had to go off it into the snow to get around.

They obviously weren’t loading or unloading - the bed of the truck was AWAY from any buildings nearby. I assume it was just plain easier to drive up a path then to park it in a parking lot (there was one at the bottom of that hill! Just a few dozen feet away!).

Like him or hate him, he’s an incredible speaker. I love how he anchors his words in the past, with Lincoln, and then brings him back later in the speech to demonstrate that recovery can happen; and he ends on hope.

When was the last time a Canadian politician had a speech half as good as that? Then they wonder why no one voted in the last election… did you want to elect the man who hates everyone, the man who can’t speak english, the man who can’t possibly win, or the woman who can’t possibly win?

We need some hope and integrity around here.
