An interesting day.

I woke up slightly late to get to the beginning of the Orientation ceremonies of sorts. I quickly joined my team, the Soaring Eagles, and we spent the day visiting a few academic sessions and playing more mindless ice breakers. Needless to say, I am not openly social, so - I more or less just walked around sullenly. My favourite part of the day was, by far, when we finally received our ties and got to say the Ode to the Tie (or whatever it is called).

We also had a row with some stupid engineers. Or rather, a legion of Mathies completely decimated them. And by that I mean, we pressured them into taking off their helmets while we praised the tie. But anywho, yeah.

Also, Andrew, I’m hardcore enough to be a Tie Guard. I could totally handle it.
