Breaking grammatical law, I’ve gone and buggered up the title.
Today, less than a few hours ago, I finished writing the English Language Proficiency Examination, which - to my observation - was a huge waste of time. On my sheet, I was offered to options for topics.
The first choice was to write about the definition of “a good friend” which they had provided. In the end, this was the topic I chose, making my entire paper ridiculously corny.
The second available choice was to write about whether we believed people had been developing shorter and shorter attention spans lately. As I already said, I chose the former.
I assume I did well. It was the same corny garbage that I fed every teacher back in our ol’ Catholic high school. And, it was written well enough, so, I should be fine. Even if they forced me to take an English course to supplement the ELPE, I wouldn’t care, since I intended to take an English anyway. Although, after writing the ELPE, I can honestly say I’m glad math has limited writing. Although now, I’m beginning to regret taking PSYCH 120R and PHIL whatever, because it means essay writing. Oh well.
Part Two will come tonight or tomorrow, depending on the success/failure of Monte Carlo night.
