I finished Half-Life 2 Episode 2. It turns out that there was more of an issue with that version of the game than I originally thought. Not only were the aforementionned textures missing, but two crucial videos (G-man video and the end scene) were missing a lot of the scripted movements, audio, and facial gestures. Oh well. I merely looked up these videos on YouTube and saw what happened in a better resolution than my system is capable of. Not a big loss.
