Con artists and extortionists all.

I sent my dad out to pick up a Wii Points card at Zellers. Apparently, they didn’t have any and didn’t know what they were (even though they have been advertised in the flyer on many occasions). I guess the Big Z has suffered since I’ve left. I would have been able to tell you where a Wii Points card was in a second.

Anyway, my dad went to EBGames and bought it there for $24.99. He came back and told me that the $22 bucks I gave him wasn’t enough, and I said, “What? I even accounted for tax? How much did they charge you?”

And I found out he had been ripped off. Assholes.

He should have been charged $19.99. Why? Because even though our dollar has ceased its dizzying climb into the heavens, it is still better off than the American dollar. Which means we should still be paying equivalent prices to our friends in the States.

So…why EB Games? Why did you rip off my dad?

Oh…right. Because cheating customers out of their money is store policy. I forgot.

Don’t shop at EB Games…Do it for the children.
