St. Patrick’s Day was on Friday, March 14th, 2008. Not, as many seem to believe, Monday, March 17th, 2008. The Catholic Church moves the Feast Day of St. Patrick whenever the day falls within Holy Week - the period of time from Palm Sunday up until - but not including - Easter Sunday.

Sorry folks. All that booze should not have been consumed during Holy Week…at least, if you care about that sort of thing.
