Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane one-ups Simpson creator Matt Groening by getting a third spin-off green-lit by Fox. Groening was initially in the lead when he had both The Simpsons and Futurama while MacFarlane was working for the then floundering Family Guy. Since then, MacFarlane has had Family Guy put back on the air due to fabulous DVD sales, a second show - American Dad - picked up by Fox, and now, ladies and gentlemen, The Cleveland Show.
This is the real deal. Fox ordered 13 episodes which are slated to premiere in either Fall of 2008 or Spring of 2009. I look forward to it. Cleveland Brown is awesome.
