Yeah. So…today is Portugal’s last group game. They are already Group A winners, and are playing against a heavily demoralized Switzerland. The game I really want to see is the Czech Republic versus Turkey. Unfortunately, these games are not being broadcast on TSN (as they usually are) because of the U.S. Open 2008. I find this confusing, since the Euro and Fifa World Cups are the most commonly watched sports programs worldwide…but I guess more people do tune in to see Tiger Woods doing anything.

Ugh. So, the only game that airs on any channel live in this timezone is the Portugal game…which will not really have any tournament defining moments in it.

Boo. Television sucks.
