So, I was doing a crossword from the Toronto Star, and it was giving me a lot of grief. Normally, I can do reasonably well on them, but it is just hit and miss with these clues.
But I got to this one, and felt better.
Clue: Disparager of seniors
Word: Ageist.
However, there is only five letters. So, I try Youth. Nope. Try a few other words. So, I type agist without the e.
Yeah. They said that Disparager of seniors is agist.
In reality, the definition of agist is: to feed or pasture (livestock) for a fee.
I applaud you The Toronto Star. You have a spelling error in your crossword.
