Ugh…I hate it when you think a midterm went extremely well, and then it comes back and you did extremely poorly.
I mean…I lost so many marks on questions that were the exact same as assignment questions that I got perfect on. How does this make any sense? If they mark it right on an expectation, but it isn’t exactly what they want to see on a test, they should tell me. Otherwise, they are simply misleading me as to what will be given a correct mark.
EDIT:
The biggest reason that I’m pissed off about this is because I wrote two midterms last week. One, I thought was on a different day, and I hadn’t adequately prepared for it. I also don’t go to lectures. I got a poor mark on the midterm, which was okay because I thought I would have failed it (all the stuff from the course that I am good at wasn’t covered extensively on the midterm). The other midterm I wrote was for my favourite class: I love the course, I get 80%-98% on each assignment, and I studied for nearly 24 hours for the midterm.
The worst part: The difference between these two grades was 5%. That really pisses me off. What is the point of putting forth any effort if I barely pass anyway. I hate tests so much. I just cannot do well on them. :(
