Radio Silence

We’ve moved into crunch time. I have two final essays to hand in, a final exam, one more week of assignments, and then it is time to start studying Algebra, CS, and the rest.

Until this is complete, I’m probably not going to be doing anything. Talking to people, updating this place, etc, etc, etc.

Wish me luck.

Harry Potter Saga Complete

So, the final book is out. I haven’t read it, and probably wont for a while. I haven’t even read the sixth book (although I do own it). But, based on what I read about the Holocruxes or what not that preserve Voldemort’s life, I want to make two predictions about the end of the series before I read the whole series from start to finish (including the newest book).

I predict that Harry will die. Also, I predict that he is one of the Holocruxes.

This isn’t a new predicition from me. I’m pretty sure I’ve said it before…somewhere, on this blog, or online somewhere. If I’m right, I will be content.

Etcetra

Yeah. So…Andrew and Binkle, I got your messages.

Or rather, I knew the messages were present, but I had not listened to the specifics.

So, rather than listening to them in detail (as a smart person would), I decided that I should replace my missing greeting (which had been erased when I accidentally unplugged the machine).

As I was recording the new greeting, the machine came unplugged (which surprised me for some reason) and I lost both messages. I listened to them originally while half asleep. I think Andrew’s was something about food. And Binkle’s was something about jerky. But don’t trust my delirium.

Such Fluctuating Due Dates

Gah.

Everything has shifted around. First, I thought my Final Essay for ENGL 208C was due a week earlier than I initially though (July 26th -> July 19th). Then, while working on the essay, I discover that it is now due on July 30th, giving me plenty of time to complete assignments. This is both a blessing and a curse: I didn’t submit last weeks algebra - in part - because I wanted to devote time to this essay, which is now due after all my algebra assignments are to be finished.

Oh well. I guess I should not go looking a gift horse in the mouth.

Oh, and just for the record, any updates in the future will be few and far between because we are approaching the dreaded period of finals…

I’ve got three assignments due a week, plus a quiz on Thursday, a final essay and final exam next Thursday (plus a fourth assignment), and after that - I’m up to my cojones in final exams.

Andrew, I don’t suppose I’d be able to meet up with you at some point in the future to go over Algebra. Everything from LU Factorization…its…all a blur.
