Media: Report with supplementary classroom material
Length: 54 pages

Abstract: This is a vignette written on Apollonius of Perga, known as the Great Geometer, who was one of the greatest minds of the Golden Age of Greek Mathematics. Enclosed is both a comprehensive report of the life, times, and works of Apollonius of Perga, as well as some supplementary classroom material on the topic of conic sections.
This project has been prepared for submission in CO 480: The History of Mathematics course at the University of Waterloo, for Professor Steve Furino. All work enclosed is original and has not previously been submitted for credit, and has otherwise been properly cited. The report and lesson were both prepared using a LaTeX template provided by Durham University in the United Kingdom.

Note: This report does contain a fair amount of mathematics, although anyone who has completed a course in Advanced Functions or Introductory Calculus (taken in high school) should be able to grasp the concepts with ease.
